October 2025 : Bridgestone has recently announced the appointment of Shaji Philipose as Vice President & Managing Director of its India Global Capability Center (GCC), effective September 2025. This strategic appointment is central to the company’s efforts to establish its India GCC as a world-class hub for talent, innovation, and strategic value, supporting operations across the Americas and Europe.
Shaji Philipose brings over two decades of deep experience in establishing and steering successful Fortune 500 GCCs. He is widely recognized for his proven track record of incubating and scaling US, UK, and European GCCs from ground zero to over 2,000 employees across various strategic capabilities. His experience spans Technology Services, Retail, Consulting, and Product organizations, covering both publicly listed and Private Equity-owned entities.
Leadership Across Global Organizations
Before joining Bridgestone, Philipose held key executive positions that involved leading large-scale global capability and service delivery centers. His extensive background includes senior leadership roles at HSO, Compucom, Office Depot, Wipro Limited, IBM.
In his new role at Bridgestone, he will focus on accelerating innovation and ensuring the India GCC acts as a key strategic partner, driving digital and technological advancements for the global organization. His expertise in building high-performing leadership teams and fostering strong organizational culture will be pivotal to the GCC’s success.
