October 2026 : V-Guard Industries Ltd. has recently announced the appointment of Mr. Mithun K. Chittilappilly as Chairperson & Managing Director. The elevation marks a significant leadership milestone as the company continues to expand its footprint as a diversified, pan-India brand.

Mithun’s journey with V-Guard began two decades ago when he joined the family business as Executive Director of Finance & Marketing, where he spearheaded geographic expansion beyond its core South Indian markets. Following the company’s successful stock market listing in 2008, he assumed the role of Managing Director in 2012, succeeding his father and founder chairman. Under his stewardship, V-Guard’s turnover surged 24-fold - growing from ₹229 crore to ₹5,966 crore - while expanding its footprint across 20+ product categories and 15 manufacturing facilities nationwide.

An alumnus of St. Joseph's College of Commerce (Bachelor of Commerce) and Melbourne Business School (MBA), Mithun brings deep operational expertise in capital allocation, brand rejuvenation, and market penetration to his dual leadership role.
