December 2025 : NOX Air Products, India’s largest manufacturer of industrial and specialty gases, has secured a significant long-term contract to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen to ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited’s upcoming TOPCON Solar Cell manufacturing facility in Dholera, Gujarat.
To ensure reliable, uninterrupted supply for the advanced solar plant, INOXAP will make a strategic investment to construct a new, state-of-the-art Air Separation Unit (ASU) directly in Dholera. The ASU is specifically engineered to meet the stringent purity and consistency requirements for the production of high-efficiency solar cells and is expected to be fully operational by the end of next year.
Speaking on the agreement, Diganta Sarma, Head - Business Development & Strategy at INOX Air Products said, “We are proud to deepen our partnership with ReNew through the establishment of a dedicated infrastructure for the supply of high-purity Nitrogen to their advanced solar cell facility. ReNew’s Dholera facility is a critical development in strengthening India’s solar manufacturing capabilities, representing a major step toward transforming the country into a global centre for the latest TOPCON technology-based PV cell manufacturing. INOXAP, which already supplies key electronic gases (such as Nitrous Oxide, Ammonia, and Silane) and comprehensive gas management solutions to ReNew’s existing PERC-technology plant, will ensure operational excellence and sustainability at the new site. The new ASU will deliver UHP Nitrogen with exceptional reliability, matching the exacting quality standards required for high-efficiency solar cell production.
