January 2026 : German automation giant Lenze has recently announced the elevation of Partha Hor to the position of Managing Director for its India operations. This strategic appointment marks a significant milestone for the German MNC, which specializes in advanced Motion Control, Automation Systems, and Drive Solutions. Hor, who has been a pillar of Lenze’s regional leadership for over eight years, takes the helm with a mandate to drive business growth and operational excellence across the subcontinent.

Having previously served as Vice President of Finance for India and South-East Asia, Hor brings a unique "entrepreneurial-controller" mindset to the role. During his tenure at Lenze, he was instrumental in localizing products and enhancing business process efficiencies. His new role focuses on scaling Lenze Operations and Business growth in India, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the industrial automation revolution.

Partha Hor’s distinguished career is a roadmap of financial and operational leadership across global manufacturing and automation giants. He began his journey with foundational roles at the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and Bajaj Auto Ltd, before moving into the luxury automotive sector with Mercedes-Benz India. His expertise further expanded through controller and management roles at Crane Co., Wirtgen India, and as a Partner at Mexs Consulting. Prior to joining Lenze, he held key leadership positions at ATS Automation and served as a Director on the board of Gefran India.
