February 2026 : NAMTECH has recently announced the strategic appointment of Mr. Kuldeep Koul as its new Chief Digital Officer (CDO), a move designed to accelerate the institution’s digital evolution. Based in Ahmedabad, Koul will spearhead NAMTECH’s technology-led initiatives, focusing on building robust systems that redefine education and skills development for the modern era.

With a career spanning over 28 years, Koul is recognized as a visionary leader at the intersection of defense, manufacturing, and advanced technology. His appointment signals NAMTECH’s commitment to ‘humanizing technology’ while scaling innovation across its ecosystem.

Koul brings a unique blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. His expertise in AI/ML-driven transformation and cybersecurity will be pivotal as NAMTECH strengthens its digital infrastructure. Koul’s leadership is expected to bridge the gap between complex engineering and agile business strategies.

Koul’s professional journey is a roadmap of industrial transformation. He joins NAMTECH from Skhy AI, where he served as CTO and COO. Previously, he spent nearly 18 years at Thales Group, holding senior roles including Regional CIO and CISO for India-Africa-Eurasia. His early career saw him honing his technical delivery and management skills at HCL Infosystems Ltd and Team Computers.

An alumnus of Karnatak University with a B.Eng. in Computer Science, Koul also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
