During this period, we have strengthened our manufacturing capabilities, advanced localisation and enhanced execution across the value chain.” - Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman & Managing Director - Pace Digitek Limited
August 2026 : Pace Digitek Limited has officially doubled its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing capacity to 5 GWh. The milestone follows the commissioning of a brand-new 2.5 GWh production line by its subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL).
The expansion builds on a solid foundation laid over the past year, during which Pace Digitek manufactured and deployed over 300 utility-scale BESS containers - delivering roughly 1.5 GWh of energy storage capacity to the market. Scaling to 5 GWh significantly enhances the company's production flexibility, supply chain responsiveness, and execution capabilities across both utility-scale grids and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) installations.
As India rapidly expands its renewable energy footprint, battery storage has emerged as the critical backbone for grid stability, peak-load management, and round-the-clock clean power. With a surging order book and an expanding project pipeline, Pace Digitek’s elevated capacity places it right at the heart of this energy transformation.
Commenting on the development, Mr. Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman & Managing Director, Pace Digitek Limited, said: “The commissioning of our additional 2.5 GWh manufacturing line builds on the progress we have made over the past year in building an integrated BESS business. During this period, we have strengthened our manufacturing capabilities, advanced localisation and enhanced execution across the value chain. With our installed manufacturing capacity now at 5 GWh, we can support our growing order book, project pipeline and product supplies while improving operational and cost efficiencies. We will continue investing in manufacturing, technology and product development to deliver reliable energy storage solutions to our customers.”
By combining design, manufacturing, EPC, and O&M services under one roof, Pace Digitek continues to solidify its footprint across energy and telecom infrastructure - setting a strong benchmark for India's domestic energy storage ecosystem.
