June 2026 : Remal Alcast Pvt. Ltd., a premier manufacturer of master alloys, cast alloys, and aluminium billets, has recently announced the strategic appointment of Ram Sandipam Adhikary as Lead for Business Development & Technical Operations.

In this multi-faceted leadership role, Mr. Adhikary is set to guide the company's core commercial and manufacturing frameworks. He will lead and oversee Business Development, and its other integral operations related to - Strategy and Planning, Process Control, Quality Assurance and Sustainability. His inclusion in the executive suite signals Remal’s intent to deeply synchronize its technological capabilities with sustainable, long-term market dominance.

Mr. Adhikary offers nearly two decades of leadership experience spanning metallurgical operations, process and quality excellence, customer technical solutions, production planning, and continuous improvement. His career includes an eight-year tenure at Sterlite Industries in Tuticorin, followed by over six years at Vedanta Limited's Aluminium Business and Vedanta Resources Plc.

This extensive hands-on experience is backed by a robust academic foundation: a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, a Master's in Manufacturing Management from BITS Pilani, and an MBA from IMI Delhi.
