April 2026 : Ashish Deshpande, a professional in engineering and industrial operations, has officially stepped into his new role as the Managing Director of Sidel India Private Limited. After a highly successful seven-year tenure at Syntegon, Deshpande is ready to guide Sidel’s next chapter of growth in the global bottling solutions market.

Deshpande is stepping into a pivotal position at a time when the bottling and manufacturing sectors are being rapidly reshaped by sustainability and digital transformation. He is particularly eager to lead a team that sits at the center of these global changes, focusing on delivering next-generation solutions and contributing to a meaningful impact on the environment and the industry at large.

Deshpande’s career is a testament to technical excellence and steady growth. An MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Kentucky and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, his professional journey has spanned major industry players. He began at Kirloskar Oil Engines, moved through Foam Design Inc. and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, followed by Kennametal and Forbes and Company. Before his leadership at Syntegon, he spent nearly eight years at Diebold managing capital projects and engineering.
